Sock fair...

A few weeks ago I went to see my lovely friend Charlotte Dredge at sock fair in Loughborough. I saw some lovely things there and thought I would share some photos of the things that I couldn't help but buy...

The jug above and the card below are by Jade Devall and I very much couldn't resist. She had loads of lovely things for the home, both ceramics and textiles...

The brooch above and the necklace below are by Katie Stainer. I bought the brooch on the day but the necklace was a commision. Me and my sister both had them made with the places of our Unversities in. They came pretty fast and she was really lovely...

The bags of bird seed were by Helen Hallows, she was selling them for charity and I just thought they were really sweet, however I have been on her website and her ceramics and prints are really lovely too...

I also loved the work of Charlotte Morrison who makes, "Quirky handbuilt ceramics inspired by vintage advertising and object from times past." Also, Louise Wright Design who creates really lovely illustrations...

Charlotte Dredge...

As my last post was about going to visit my friend Charlotte at the sock fair I thought that I would now show you some of her work, (photos stolen from her blog,)I think that it is all wonderful! The pots look completely like paper so you get a real shock when you touch them and they're actually super thin ceramics...

The wizard of oz...

My friend Reema bought me this amazing copy of the wizard of oz for my birthday. It is beautiful! The cover, front and back, is a print of an embroidery and the inside of the cover is a print of the back of the embroidery! I think that I may need to collect the whole penguin threads series. My next one should be the secret garden I think...
